Then I also read the interview in managementconsultingnews.com I started thinking about it again and realized how valuable it is to keep all these concepts in your mind when dealing with other departments, vendors, customers and even inside your own team. This is one key "soft skill" in business intelligence business please take some time to listen to the podcast or read the interview online. Both are very interesting resources.

Have a great holiday season and be prepared for a great 2007!

Ignacio

Welcome!

Hi!

Welcome to my BI Architecture Journal, my name is Ignacio de la Torre and when I go to sleep at night and I close my eyes I see zeros and ones.

Just kidding, actually thats a very primitive way to look at data, the passion that drives my career and my thiking is transforming those bits of data into reliable, accessible decision making information.

This blog will be a journal of my research on these areas and will also try to be a compilation of extrernal references that you should be able to use in your journey to Business Intelligence and Information Architectures.

Ignacio

Also check my Enterprise Information Architecture (RSS) and Database Architecture (RSS) Journals.
